ABOUT ME:

I was born in New Orleans LA. DA  N.O. U HEARD ME!!!

I came to Pflugerville TX. in June 2005 via a job transfer to work at Dell Computers. I've been married to my awesome wife Donnice for 22 years.  We have six kids: Sherman III, Sharron, Theresa, Brittony, Symone, Leonard (Lenny) and we got Some Grand Kids...Wow!!! We got a Basketball Team..LOL... I've been at ALC for 1 1/2 years. I excepted Christ at the age of 14. I excepted my calling to the ministry in 1985. I think I am a funny dude..Loving, Kind, and often kind of crazy..Lol, But it's all good.

EDUCATION:

I attended John F Kennedy High School. After graduating, I attended Nicholls State University to play football and received a BA Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. Later on I went to Delgado College and got an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. After my call to the ministry, I attended Union Baptist Theological Seminary and received a BA Degree in Divinity..

HEROES:

My Hero is my mother, Peggy Scales, having to be a single parent, working night and day to provide even when times were tough, telling us to always trust God and depend on him..THAT'S MY MOMMA!!!

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT ALC?

The thing I love about ALC is that we are a Church who really understands and cares about people. I love that we have a Pastor who is not afraid to deliver the Word, and who doesn't allow tradition to hold him back.  I love the creativity, I love the worship!
